Why We Built This Site
Michigan court access is not a single-office process. In Antrim County, the County Clerk is the circuit criminal, civil, and family clerk, while the 86th District Court handles district criminal, traffic, civil, small-claims, and summary-proceeding files. Probate and Family Division maintains its own records. A docket, also called a case history or register of actions, lists events in a case; the signed papers behind it may require a clerk request. The site exists to make those distinctions clear before a searcher chooses a portal or counter.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket paths: the local difference between criminal dockets and civil dockets
- Hearing checks: ways to read the court calendar and confirm a current setting
- Search details: a case search by name, court, or case-number components
- Copies and files: the clerk channels for court records and certified copies
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately operated reference resource, with no affiliation to a Michigan court, clerk, or state agency. The following tasks belong to the court or clerk with custody of the case:
- Provide an official docket sheet, filed document, or case file
- Set, move, or verify a hearing date for a particular case
- Seal, change, or remove an entry from a court record
- Issue a certified docket, order, or other court copy
- Give legal advice about a charge, claim, order, or deadline
- Guarantee that a court schedule, fee, or contact detail has not changed
Only the responsible clerk or court can provide an official or certified case record. The county contact and court selection must be confirmed with that office.
Search Partners
Some pages display search tools operated by third-party providers. Those providers control their own results, prices, account terms, and data practices. A paid enrollment reached through a tool may produce referral revenue for this site, but it does not make the tool an official Michigan court source or substitute for clerk verification.
